What is AVCS™?
AVCS™, Auto Valve Control Stability is a technology by GAB SUSPENSION that is capable to automatically tune the stiffness of the shock absorbers.
How AVCS™ work?
By using a specially designed built-in multilayers valve spring, AVCS™ is capable to sense and determine the road conditions thus automatically tune the stiffness by reducing or increasing the damping force of the shock absorbers based on the road conditions and driving style. Specially designed shock absorber housing also plays an important role in keeping the multilayers valve spring in place and provides the most accurate reading for the constant adjusting damping force. This results to superior handling and maximum comfort on all road conditions.
What are the differences between normal shock absorbers?
A stiff suspension works well on high speed driving and negotiating corners, offers maximum car handling but sacrifices comfort. On the other hand, a soft suspension works well on bumpy road, potholes and uneven road but sacrifices handling.
With an AVCS™ technology equipped shock absorbers, you can now have both the comfort and handling at the same time on uneven road, bumpy road, pothole, high speed corners and highways as the damping and rebound force is automatically tuned based on the road conditions and driving style which most conventional shock absorbers could not offer with a fixed damping and rebound force; either soft or hard.
Where to get AVCS™ equipped shock absorbers?
AVCS™ equipped shock absorbers can be found in our GAB ST Series, HE Series, 4X4 S Series, HA-B Series, HA Series and SA Series.
What is AVCS2™?
AVCS2™, 2nd Generation Auto Valve Control Stability is an enhanced version of AVCS™ technology specially designed for monotube type cylinder shocks by GAB SUSPENSION that has an even responsive feedback and capable to automatically tune the stiffness of the shock absorbers precisely.
How AVCS2™ work?
By using the specially designed built-in multilayers valve spring and piston valves, AVCS2™ is now applicable on monotube type cylinder shocks with an even responsive feedback in sensing and determine the road conditions thus automatically tune the stiffness by reducing or increasing the damping force of the shock absorbers based on the road conditions and driving style precisely. The specially designed monotube type cylinder shocks housing also plays an important role in providing the most accurate reading for the multilayers valve spring and piston valves to constantly adjust the damping force precisely. This results to superior handling and maximum comfort on all road conditions.
